Downloaded Video But Audio Not Syncing

Does anyone know a fix for syncing the audio to a downloaded Loom video? I've downloaded my 5-minute Loom video, but when I play the .mp4 video, the audio does not sync up with the video.

Loom records in VFR by default to keep file sizes manageable, but most local media players (VLC, Windows Media Player, etc.) don't handle VFR gracefully, which causes the audio drift you're seeing.

Quick fix — re-encode to a constant frame rate (CFR):

1. Grab HandBrake (free, cross-platform).
2. Open your .mp4 in HandBrake.
3. Under the Video tab, set the framerate to 30 fps (or match whatever the original was recorded at), and make sure Constant Framerate is selected — not "Variable" or "Peak."
4. Encode and save.
