Dont hear any audio in my recordingson loom

Hi, @shalini 

When this happens, Loom is not recording audio from your microphone. This usually occurs when browser permissions to access the microphone are not enabled.

Here’s what you can do to fix it:

Check your browser permissions:

Click the lock icon 🔒 in your browser’s address bar.

Make sure Microphone and Camera permissions are set to Allow for loom.com.

Reload the Loom page after changing the permissions.

Verify inside Loom:

When Loom asks to check your settings, ensure you Allow access as shown below:

Check your input device:

Click the Loom recorder settings (⚙️) before starting a recording.

Make sure the correct microphone (built-in or external) is selected.

Reinstall or reset permissions (if needed):

Go to your browser’s settings → Privacy → Site Settings → Microphone.

Remove loom.com and allow access again when prompted.

Once you’ve done that, try another recording — you should now see the microphone icon active and hear your voice in playback.
