I am trying to make a video recording while I talk through a PowerPoint Presentation. Can someone please provide me with a step by step guide on how to do this? I'm getting lost with the PowerPoint taking up the entire screen and the 3-second countdown has already started. I've been working on this for hours, very frustrated. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Hi, @Ernie Rogers - this support article outlines the steps needed to record a Powerpoint. https://support.atlassian.com/loom/docs/record-a-presentation-with-loom/
The easiest way is to let Loom do the recording, not PowerPoint.
Open your PowerPoint in normal edit mode, not slideshow. Open Loom and choose Screen + Camera or Screen only. Select Window and pick the PowerPoint window so it doesn’t take over your whole screen. Start recording, then press F5 inside PowerPoint when you’re ready to present. Talk through your slides at your own pace. When you’re done, stop the Loom recording and it saves automatically.
If the countdown stresses you out, click Cancel, set everything up first, then start again once you’re ready.
