I'm unable to update to OS 12 due to hardware requirements. The desktop app is much better than the Chrome ext or browser in my opinion.
Yes, it’s possible, but with limitations. Loom generally only supports the most recent macOS versions, so older desktop app builds aren’t officially provided or guaranteed to work on macOS 11. Some users have had luck keeping an existing older version installed, but clean installs are tricky. If updating the OS isn’t an option, using the Chrome extension or browser version is usually the most reliable workaround.
Hi @Carm Taglia
Based on this https://support.atlassian.com/loom/docs/loom-device-compatibility/ even the Chrome browser compatibilty is on the verge of being cut out for mac os 11.
It might be possible to find and download an older, pre Atlassian, version from internet archives... but considering Atlassian acquired Loom in October 2023, compatibility might be an issue.
