Jira automation does not work

Hi everyone

I want to assign X person to any new created bug. It shows succeed but it is not assigned in Jira ticket.

Hi @GZ 

It has to be a permission issue,

1) Please check if the user is a part of that particular project

2) Also, if that user can be assigned issues on the project

3) Try and make sure the person still has access to the Jira software

4) Then make sure you have the permission to assign issues to users on the project.

Check this and you can reply if the issue continues.

Could permissions be in play?  In other words:

How are the Assign issues and Assignable User permissions set?

^ What he said, I would make sure that you can assign that user manually into the ticket and then go from there. 

Also is the assignee editable on the "edit" screen

Yes looks this was a permission issue.
