Manual monitoring of all the issues has become quite a tough task for us.
We run a customer-centric project in Jira, Where users post their needs by creating tickets
In the process, we might tend out missing few tickets which makes the ticket stays for a long time unresolved.
To resolve this we are trying to automate by creating an email notification to the team members if the ticket stays for few days without being updated.
I have tried using JQL, but looks like I get notified by the issue but not the current assignee (also my other my team members), Cause of that I was looking for the project Automation option in Jira. I have already triggered a rule which sends out mail when an issue is created using project automation. So just checking if it could help me with my current problem.
Hi @Aswin ,
I have done something similar to notify the team when an issue stays in a specific status for 7 days using Automation :
Let me know if this helps,
