HOW TO: Due date = Release date

Áron March 18, 2021

Hey all,

I am trying to set a scheduled rule to run every day that sets the due date of each issue that has a fix version. The due date should be the same as the release date set on that particular fixVersion.

I tried with a bunch of smart values - some come back with "SUCCESS" in the log, but the due date field is still empty.

I am pretty sure I am messing up the smart value, but I couldn't find the correct one anywhere.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Hi @Áron ,

I got this rule to work using the following smart value :

{{issue.fixVersions.releaseDate.jiraDate}}

You can seee the full rule here :

Let me lknow if this helps,

This works great! Thank you.

Does anyone have the Smart Value for the Release Version Start Date? It would be nice to be able to automatically copy both Release dates into the Start and Due date fields for use with Advanced Roadmaps.
