How can i get requests from a next gen service desk into the backlog of a next gen Kanban board?

Hi Tayo - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Just modify the filter for the Kanban Board to include the Next-gen Service Desk project in the filter.

How would I do that on a next-gen project Kanban board though? Thanks!

You can't on a Next-gen board - you have have to create a new Kanban board.
