when should we get socket time exception?

we are getting socket time exception while we configuring server could you please help us with better solution

There are a lot of things, mostly network related, that could be causing this sort of thing.

You will need to give us a proper description of the error and a basic idea of what you are doing that causes it and what your server set up is like.

our is 8081 and we are trying to access organization server means regarding email configuration .eg:if someone email to our organization group email we have to show those issue in jira service desk issues.we configure that email to server but getting socket exception. can we have demo on this? is it possible?

So Jira is actually working, but you are getting a socket exception when trying to configure the incoming email.  Is that right?  And what is the error message?

is that the same way by clicking on "move to issues" you are using JIRA Service Desk or is there any direct way getting issue directly to "Jira Service Desk" Issuesjira.JPG

yes, it's working we configured with outlook
