Hi, I have the following issue. Atlassian has several types of roles: Partner and User. When adding them to a JSM project, I face the problem that without the Service Desk Customer role permission, users in the Partner group cannot submit requests. However, if I grant them this role, they gain the same ability to submit requests as regular Users. The only solution I see is to restrict Request Types by role. But is there a way to bypass this, for example, by granting the Service Desk Stakeholders role in the project? Perhaps in the future, there will be functionality to differentiate between users?
Hello @Владислав
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
Can you share screen images with us showing where the Partner and User roles are available?
These are not default roles provided by Jira Service management.
Refer to this documentation for information about Roles in JSM:

If you need to have a clear view of what roles exist in your organisation, and which users are assigned to which role you can use Roles Dashboard for Jira , an app released by our company.
The two perspectives are presenting you the data from Project to User as well as from User to Project.
You can depict if users are directly assigned to roles or via groups.
Once you have the overall understanding of how users are assigned to roles in your organisation you can decide easier on how to design your solution.

Petru
