portal link removal

I have a customer portal site that is displaying a button that links to a queue in a project that i would like to remove. servicedesk/customer/portal/6 without removing the queue itself.

How do I turn off this portal button link (what ever you want to call it).. not finding any clear instructions.

You can not remove portals technically but you can hide them using permissions.  In the project settings you can change the Customer permissions.

Who can raise requests? --> Customers who are added to the project

Then remove all customers from the permissions.  I am assuming that you are not using the desk anymore.

We are using the Project, however one of the portal links to a queue within the project we would like to decommission. Does that make sense?
