parent link is not available for sub-task

I have a story which is linked to a sub-task. I can see sub-task link in story issue type.
whereas, I couldn't find the parent -link in sub-task.
I ensured that "parent-link" field is added to my screen.

In the first picture I have "Parent link" as a field in my sub-task issue type but in the view screen, I couldn't view the Parent link. Is this intended? kindly clarify.

Hi @rbalamu2 - "Parent Link" is specific to Advanced Roadmaps.  For sub-tasks, you just want the "Parent" field.

I could find a field as "Parent". I have only "parent link" as an option in find my field dropdown. I don't have a system/custom field as "Parent". Kindly help!

So... Yes parent is not available for the sub-task because it's included in the breadcrumb:
