Hi I'm completely new to Jira service desk.
I want to be able to paste an image into a ticket where I'm responding to a customer query?
I'm using a mac, and Safari (latest version) is my preferred browser, but happy to use Chrome.
Can anyone assist?
Hi @Debby Gibson,
Yes, you can copy and paste the image from the customer portal as well as from the JIRA service desk issue from the agent's side. Can you confirm where exactly you want to paste the image? You can share the screenshot and can you confirm what is the JIRA service desk version you are using.
Regards,
Gangavath Kishore Kumar.
Thank you very much for your assistance. It is when I create a comment on the ticket and either Share with the Customer or Comment internally, that I'd like to be able to paste a screen shot. I use snagit, so can quickly take a screen shot, copy it to my clipboard, and then I'd like to be able to paste this.
I see in this dialog (that I'm using here) there is a camera icon on the toolbar which allows me to add any image. I don't have that in my "Share with Customer / Comment internally dialog". Would this be a setting somewhere so that I can add this?
But I think I've answered my own question. When I look at the toolbar again, I can see a paperclip attachment, which allows me to browse for a file.
But then I tried again to copy and paste and I ended up with something that looks like this !image-2018-10-19-09-05-41-881.png|thumbnail! and when I save the comment, it shows as an image.
