is there an easy way to include "time to resolved" or "days until done" in a jira for sheets export?

kim August 3, 2022

I have a jira for sheets export where I can capture a create date and last updated, but I cannot get the "time to resolved" in an accurate way that takes account of weekends. Is there a way to export the SLA time stamps or something similar to use as a reference point instead of the "last updated" date? Thanks!

Hi, @kim

I would recommend you try to add columns like "Time to resolved" to export the report where they will be included. I'll show you now what I mean :)

I will show it on the example of SLA Time and Report for Jira add-on. I have experience of doing like this in this plugin and hope it'll help you too.

So, here we can add Custom fields that will be added to your Jira issues. So if you need to monitor "Time to resolved", then you can add such "Time stamp" and "Label" custom fields:
(You can also add additional Cuestom fields, if you need. Personally I would also add a "Reminder" field because I prefer to get reminders a few days before the due date, as sometimes I forget about the task I have to do by the day X)

After that configure the SLA Configuration, choose Start and Stop conditions, activate Custom Fields and choose some automated actions.

For example, I want the "Time to resolved" date to be August 22, 10:00 PM. But I would also like to set up sending notifications before this date, and a few days before so not to forget about it and not to miss this time goal, so I can do like this:

goals _.png

And to monitor how everything is going and if your "Time to resolve" goal is met, you can choose what columns you want to be shown in the reports:

And then download the report in Excel or CSV format

Hope it helps.

And let me know if you need help of info! This add-on was created by my team, so we will be glad to tell you more how to work with SLA Time and Report for Jira add-on.

Have an amazing day!

Regards,
Olha
