how do i get the service desk to reply using my company email

I have changed the reply address to my company email but the end users are still recieving emails directly from the jira email address nit my company one

Hi @Neil Baldwin Welcome to the community!

Please check the below points:

 

  • Check Email Settings in JSM:

    • Go to the JSM project settings.
    • Under "Email Requests," ensure that the correct reply-to address is set.
  • Update Notification Schemes:

    • Check the notification scheme associated with your project. Make sure it’s configured to use the desired email address for notifications.
  • Modify Outgoing Mail Settings:

    • If you're using a custom SMTP server, ensure the settings are correctly configured to use your company email address.
  • Check Service Desk Settings:

    • In the Service Desk settings, ensure that any default email addresses are updated.
  • Test Email Functionality:

    • Send a test email to verify if notifications are being sent from the new address.

Hi

the initial email comes through and also the final if its closed, it just the other emails ie when you update a ticket or assign someone.
