how can i revise out of cancelled status if it was a mistake? need to revise the status to completed

I mistakenly put something in Cancelled status

instead of completed status, how can I fix it?

You would need to edit your workflow in order to do that. If you have Jira admin permission, make a copy of the existing project, create a new transition out from Canceled to Completed, then associate this new workflow with the workflow scheme used by the project.

If you have the Jira system admin right, then you can edit the WF that is associated with your issue (issue type) in question and create an transition from Canceled to Completed status. 

Here are a few additional thing that you need to be aware when modify WFs:

1. If the changes you wanted should only be applied to a specific project, then you need to ensure that the WF itself is not shared by other projects.  If yes, then you need to make a copy of the WF first, then make your changes in the copied WF.  This way, other projects are not impacted.
2. As WFs belong to WF configuration scheme, you also need to ensure the scheme is not shared by other projects too.  If so, then you will also need to copy the shared WF configuration scheme first, and then add your copied WF to the copied WF configuration scheme and associate the WF to the desired issue type.  Afterward, you will need to changed the WF configuration scheme for the project in question to use the copied scheme (with the newly copied WF setup) and DON'T forget to PUBLISH the change at the end.

This sounds like you're using a company-managed project.  For the workflow of such a project, you (well, the Jira admin) has to set up a transition to go from Canceled to the status before Completed.

Do you have a diagram of the workflow?
