I need to be able to generate ad hoc reports that return all issues/incidents w a particular value, such as location = New York....currently there seems to be no way to do this.

Hi Natalie!

I have found the stock JIRA service desk reports to be extremely limiting.

I recommend an addon such as All-In-One reports. There are certainly ways to report on custom fields as Mohammed mentioned above, but overall I have found much more flexibility in third party reporting.

Hi Natalie,

Yes you can. Just use gadgets on a dashboard. (most of gadgets are based on filters and you can choose the info that you want in the filter).

Do you have a special report in mind? is it time-series? ...

cheers
