Gustavo Souza October 9, 2018

It is possible to filter an e-mail!?
è possible to create scheme of notifications of solicitations!?
Example:
While receiving a solicitation for email of the domain @gmail.com, the JIRA will be going to filter this solicitations and iriá to notify the client with the scheme defined for it @gmail.com, if it was so it would be done for too many domains.

Hi Gustavo,

Just to better understand the question, do you mean you would like to filter/block the notification from certain email domain in JIRA Service Desk? If so, there's no function available to blacklist certain domain for JSD unfortunately as Service Desk will process and notify any emails which can request a service and here are several ways to reduce email notifications:

1. If you get too many spams, you can set domain whitelist and message threshold via the advanced mail loop detection. Though it might not directly block a specific email domain, it can prevent spams from coming through.

2. Another method is you can specify which customer that can send Service Request via the Customer Permissions.  The only customer listed in the Service Desk Project can raise a request:

Also, be sure to disable self-signup from the JIRA Service Desk Global permission

3. Looking into Atlassian Bugs and Feedbacks channel, there is an existing feature request to Include Domain Level Restrictions for Service Desk Public Signup. Feel free to vote and watch on the ticket to be notified of any changes. We do not have any ETA or guarantee this will get implemented at the moment.

Hope this helps.
