Hi all,
I my dashboard I added an Issue Statistics gadget. I wanted statistics to be based on the Request Type field. But I can't seem to find that field.
How can I get a field available in the Issue Statistics gadget?
Appreciate any help. Cheers.
Hi all,
Just having the same trouble and see that a feature opened since 2015 address this problem, but infortunately no news.
After looking for complex workaround explaining how to create custom fields with automation and use this custom field, I take a last look and then I discover the miracle solution (Jira cloud)
From your dashboard add a gadgets and search for this one
Then select your project in source field.
In chart by you will find the "Request type"
That's all. Save and congratulate yourself, you did it.
Kevin.
Hi @Zaldy Parian,
I am Marlene from codefortynine.
Do you want to create a statistic as in this screenshot?
If yes, this statistic would be possible with our app Quick Filters for Jira Dashboards. You can check out our app without installation on our demo dashboards.

Unfortunately, this is a long standing Feature Request. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-1914.%C2%A0
The best work around would be to leverage some Automatikn to copy the Customer Request Type value to another field that you can query.
Sucks, I know :(

Hi @Kristopher Perez ,
Thanks for the suggestion. I was actually thinking of duplicating the Request Type field to another custom field.
Cheers,
Zaldy.
