Hello,
I have defined several pinned fields in a specific JSM project. The problem is that sometimes those fields are shown in the "Description" fields. It seems related to the request type, but I'm not sure.
Is there a way to bypass that and force pinned fields to show on the right side of the screen?
Hi @Francisco Martín ,
You have to check your issue view configuration. If the field is added to the Description area, it can't be pinned. It has to be in the Context section.

Thank you, I can't access that screen (I'm not a project Admin) so I guess I can't change it.😓

Unfortunately, it's not configurable per user. You have to ask your admin :) Maybe more people in your team need it.

I agreed with what @Kate Pawlak _Appsvio_ stated. Project admins or system admins can control the fields position in the Issue View tab.
In the Issue View tab (when one access the Request Type configuration entry), there are three main secitons -
Description fields
Context fields
Hidden when empty fields
Unfortunately, Request Type configurations are unique to each individual project and not global.
Hope this also helps you.
