We have recently migrated from Opsgenie to Jira Service Management (JSM) Alerts and created a JSM REST API for handling alert integrations. However, when we configure and trigger an integration in JSM, the alerts are still being automatically created in Opsgenie as well.
Our expectation is that alerts should only be handled within JSM, but they continue to be synced or duplicated into Opsgenie.
We would like to understand:
Why JSM alerts are still being routed to Opsgenie after migration
Whether this is due to a backend integration or configuration
What steps are required to stop alerts from being sent to Opsgenie and keep them only within JSM
