I want to delete a project that I created, but delete project option is not shown neither on Jira settings -> Projects page nor on MyProject -> Project setting page. I am member of amin, jira-admin, site-admin groups too, so my permissions should be okay. Moreover, my fellow admin with the same group membership sees that above mention Delete project option for the same project.
What could be missing in my case? Any suggestions?
if you are an admin you should go to project > project settings. In the first section on the sidebar you should find Delete Project.
Sorry for the late reply.
Im aware of this, as I mentioned above, my problem was that the Delete project option was not shown there at all. However, in the meantime, something should have changed, because after some days its appeared there.
My assumption is the following: I logged in to Jira as a new user, and after that my colleague has granted me admin access which somehow did not go through properly until I logged out and in again. After my second login, the given "delete project" was there.
Thanks for your time anyway!
