Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible to allow us to use Jira Service Desk & Confluence Knowledge base to provide a Q&A, Knowledge Base, Service Desk for users without an account.

But NOT allow them to search for other customers. This can become a privacy concern.

Looking forward for an answer!

Kind regards,

Karel

Hello Karel,

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

It's possible to let the project open to anyone on the internet and also possible to not allow them to search for other users.

To let the project open, please go to Project settings > Customer permissions > Who can access the portal and send requests? > Anyone with an account.

Also, as you don't want them to find other customers, on "Who can customers share requests with?" you must select "Other customers in their organization. This option only allows them to search for customers in their organization". If they are not on an Organization, they won't find anyone, that's why this is the option you need to use and also, make sure that they are not in an Organization.

After that, click on Save and click on "change the global settings" on the same page or go to Jira settings > Products > Configuration.

Can customers create their own accounts? > Yes, by signing up or sending a request.

Can customers access and send requests from the help center without logging in? > Yes.

Hope this helps!

Regards,
Angélica
