I have had to migrate from cloud to on-premise. I install Service Desk and then restore from the cloud backup.
In the process, I lost the Service Desk icons.
I tried installing a side-by-side version of Service Desk, but have no idea where the icons can be found. They don't seem to be in the folder indicated by some of the similar questions.
Where are they? And, is there a source that doesn't involve installing the software itself?
If you have no need to run Jira Software, and only want Jira Service Desk, I'd recommend this installation package instead https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/service-desk/download
Of course you can still add Software to this later if you like.
It's possible there are different issue types/icon between server and cloud. So just installing a base server with service desk I would not necessarily expect to see all the same icons that you might have had in Cloud. In Server, I would expect these files to be located in the $JIRAHOME/data/avatars/ folder.
In your Cloud backup zip file, you should have a corresponding /data/avatars/ folder. I would expect that this folder would contain both user avatars as well as issue icons from your Jira Cloud site.
