When the approver approves request, notification are turned off

Dear community!

I have an approval step in my request, when the user have to approve/decline it. 

After confirmation from approver, notification on the portal are turned off for approver, so approver won't recieve any more noitifcations. 

I do not need to turn it off, so workaround I found is just to add approvers to request participants, so they will recieve notifications after approval step. 

I didn't find any settings to disable this automatic turn off notifications on the portal for approvers. 

Is it possible to disable this functionality?

Hi Petr,

It's not standard practice to keep notifying the Approver after they have performed their duty. Should should add them to the Request Participants (as you have done) or to the Watchers. You can do this with an Automation rule so that you don't have to do it manually.
