We getting an Error when testing SMTP Server settings.

the smtp settings do work, if we test them with a different program.

An error has occurred with sending the test email:
com.atlassian.mail.MailException: javax.mail.AuthenticationFailedException: 535 5.7.0 Authentication rejected

at com.atlassian.mail.server.impl.SMTPMailServerImpl.sendWithMessageId(SMTPMailServerImpl.java:222)

This can have 3 causes:

• Account Disabled; the account is not longer valid. Ask your Mail admins to assist.
• SMTP Authentication is off: Turn it on.
• Wrong username and/or password: check your credentials again.
