We are putting a monitoring on the Jira Service Desk URL. What kind of server will support this ?

One of our client are basically putting a monitoring on our Jira Service Desk URL to know the status whether it is reachable or not.  What kind of server will support this ? 

Tomcat? websphere? Jboss?

You've mentioned that your client is monitoring your service desk URL. As it looks like you're on cloud, this can be publicly monitored from:

https://jira-service-desk.status.atlassian.com/

If they want to ping the URL and monitor it themselves, they can monitor with whatever technology they're comfortable with.
