Has anyone successfully been able to implement the use of the JSM Virtual Service Agent (connected to Confluence Knowledge Base) on a Refined Portal?
Hi Jared,
You can use the VSA widget and embed it using custom code on Refined: Tutorial: Virtual service agent on Refined
It works as expected both for surfacing knowledge base content from Confluence spaces connected to the JSM project (space? still getting used to the new terminology..) and for creating requests on behalf of the user.
The widget does however need an open portal set up on JSM to work, this is an Atlassian limitation I'm afraid. There's a public ticket for API access to the Virtual agent that we're waiting on for this: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-16379
Hope this helps!
Also - our product team is exploring expanding Refined Sites for JSM and AI capabilities - if you're up for it, we'd love your input in shaping what this looks like. Let us know if you're keen and we'll set it up.

Last time I checked this is not possible. That's why a lot of customers are staying with out of the box functionality so that they can use the AI and JSM service agent capabilities.
Make sure you contact the vendor directly to get more info.
Regards,
Fabian
