Using Jira Service Desk issues and workflows for asset management, any way to do inventory audit?

Guidelines for using Jira Service Desk for asset management are in the document Guide to Asset Management. This contains a description of how to use issues and workflows to track assets, but we need a way to verify the presence of assets to generate an annual inventory list and determine any missing assets. This should involve generating a list of all current assets and verifying their presence by scanning their barcodes. All assets whose barcodes could not be scanned are missing.

Hi Dale,

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!
Currently, we don't have a specific feature for asset management on Jira Service Desk. We have a feature request for it to be implemented in the future:
The documentation shows the steps to use asset management using the current features on Jira, so there are many functionalities that Asset has that will not be possible to make on Jira until the "real" Asset be implemented on our product.
Please, click on vote and watch to receive updates about the feature.

Regards,
Angélica
