Use of Jira software Rest APIs in Jira Service desk

Hi Team, Can we use the Rest APIs of Jira Software in Jira Service Desk, when we have installed only Jira Service Desk ( v4.0.0.)?

Hi @satheesh 

If the APIs are specific to software functionality, you wouldnt be able to use it in the JSD instance.

However, The JIRA core rest apis should be available for JSD also

There are experimental methods in the documentation so can we use this experimental methods in the Production environment?

The experimental methods could be changed in future, i wouldnt recommend using them in critical production setup
