Hello,

We want to upgrade our current version of JSM from 5.4.6 to the latest supported On-premise data center version. Which is the version to upgrade and do we have any documentation for this upgrade?

Please let me know if you require any additional information.

Thanks and Regards,

Nitin

Hi @Nitin Deshpande and welcome to the Community!

You can find full version history and release upgrade notes right here. You will see that Atlassian made a jump from version 5.17 straight to 10.x to align the versioning of JSM with Jira Software, so this would be easier to understand. So it is not as if a lot of versions are missing there, just a jump for reasons of clarification.

Hope this helps!

Hello @Walter Buggenhout

Thanks for the quick response and the link.

1. Can we upgrade directly from 5.4 to 10.3 which is the next long term support release or do we need to upgrade sequentially till 5.17 and from there to 10.3?

2. Currently, we don't have any customizations done in our current environment, is it better to upgrade to 5.4.30 or to 10.3?
