What is the simplest way to update my current Jira Service Desk to the next-gen.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
Hi @Help Desk Support - you can gain access to JSD next-gen project templates via our Early Access Program.
Details of this can be found here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/servicedeskcloud/get-early-access-to-the-next-gen-jira-service-desk-experience-968672129.html
@Caroline Bartle , thanks for sharing this here. Might I ask, I am about to begin to set up a new External Customer service desk and am debating whether to go the NG route or not. I just want to be sure that these new NG projects are going to stick and will continue to be supported before venturing forward. Can you comment on that?

Note if you are talking about JSD NG, which it appears you are, it is still in beta so I'm not sure I would look to move production projects. Following Summit I have added NG JSD templates but only created a test project into my production instance. Now if you are maybe talking about moving a JSD project over to JSW NG for some reason then you can certainly do that w/o worrying too much.

Alexey, what about if it is set up as a service desk and not a kanban or sprint. I am not seeing the options they are discussing for migration.

Hello,
You should create a new next-gen project and use the Bulk Move option to move all issue from the service desk project to the next-gen project.
