Hi,
I have a helpdesk project with 3 people/members and I want to set a notification automation that when a customer or one of the three members of the project add a comment(internal or external) all 3 members of the helpdesk project should be notified by email to keep track of the issue even if it's not assign to them(the remaining 2 members/people in the helpdesk project)
It will be useful that the member who posted the comment to not be notified because he is the one who posted, he allready know :)
Any help will be much apreciated!
Thanks,
Hi @Alexandru Mihuleac , you don't need Automation here. You can use the Notification scheme for this. Under project settings > notifications you will find issue commented. You can add the Service Desk Team to this notification. This assume that is the role all your agents are members of but you can use whatever role/group is appropriate.
Hi, I have missed this notification settings(I'm new to Jira) indeed on issue comented was only Current Assigne, Reporter and Watchers. Now I have added Project Role(Service Desk Team)
I will have to test it with my collegues but for shure this is it. :)
Thank you very much for your support!
