Update Custom Field's Name and Description

Hello

Please, is there a way to update the name and description of a custom field programmatically?

Or better still, is there a webhook that is triggered when a custom field is updated?

Not yet, so far you can only set the name and description on creating a new field  https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/rest/v3/api-group-issue-fields/#api-group-issue-fields

You can use webhooks when an issue is updated, but they're not tied to specific fields within the issue.  See https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/webhooks/
