Unable to login back

Hi Jira Gurus,

I was testing the SSO SAML in my data center Jira Service Management, once I finished configuration I disabled the default basic authentication. During test, there is something wrong with the SAML, which prevented me from logging in back.

So for now, I am not able to log in back since neither of the authentication is working. Is there any way that I could enable basic authentication background?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @dujas

It seems you are using the build-in SSO2.0 functionality of the Jira Datacenter and in this case, please check out the steps given in the link below to bypass SSO and log in using local admin credentials.

https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/bypass-saml-authentication-for-jira-data-center-869009810.html

In case if you are using any SSO plugin from the Atlassian Marketplace, I suggest directly reach out to the vendor for further assistance.

We (miniOrange) also have the SAML SSO plugin for the JIRA/JSD Datacenter with lots of Advance Security and usability feature (to handle this kind of scenario). In case if you wanted to take a look.

Thanks,

Lokesh

PS: I work from miniOrange, one of the top SSO vendors on the Atlassian Marketplace.

Hi Lokesh,

Thanks for the reply.

I tried Solution B in the link and managed to bypass the the SSO successfully.
