Hello,
I'm facing an issue while integrating Jira with SAP CALM for incident management.
By trying to create a ticket from CALM I receive the following error "The target project doesn't exist or you don't have permission to create issues in it." - check below
The integration between CALM & Jira is based on fixed destination with the API token created for my user & a mapping rule both shown below
I’m the Project owner, administrator and almost full access to project roles & Jira instance is on the free subscription
Please let me know based on your experiences what could be missing and why am I still getting the project might be missing or I don't have permission!
Thank You,
Mina
Hello @Mina Abdelmalek
Can you please provide a screen image for evidence that a project with the key "SDA_Test_Space" exists in the consultsda site?
How did you create your API token to use during this integration? Did you create your token with or without scopes?

I believe the problem may be here:
The attribute is key as in the Key for the Project. What you have provided is the name of the project; SDA_Test_Space. The key for the project is STS.
Try providing STS rather than SDA_Test_Space in the mapping and let us know the results.

Thank you @Trudy Claspill , that was the initial issue beside some other modifications required in the mapping

Does this space exist on the Jira side?
Does the user the API token belongs to have access on the space in a role that is granted "create issue" permission?
As the message you get relates to a permission issue fro the user trying to execute the issue creation.

Are you also an agent, so you have an agent license and are added to the role Service Desk Team?
Note: also check the project key remark from @Trudy Claspill
