I have a problem that is driving me crazy, at the moment when I try to add a mail in JSM there are an error:
in my settings for mail in JSM, there aren't Email Requests config, so i don't know what it's failing
I hope someone can help me with this issue
Is it possible that this email is used within your Jira software incoming mail handler? Look under admin > system > mail > incoming and check each handler.

My last guess is that at one point that email was used and it has not cleared the database. To be honest I haven't attempted to reuse a password to see if that's possible. At this point I would defer to Atlassian support to see if they can investigate.
One last thought – Have you attempted to use a different email?
