Unable to control the display position of a custom field in a subtask view

When a custom field is configured in a subtask screen scheme, it is not possible to specify whether the custom field appears in the center area or in the right-side details panel.

Within a JSM space this is not configurable for sub-tasks.

There is an open feature request, JSDCLOUD-11560 

But I don't think this will get executed, as this behaviour is as intended, also see JSDCLOUD-9226

Hi are you trying to control where a custom field shows in a subtask (like center vs right panel)? 

As far as I know it seems like Jira doesn’t actually let us control that part. We can choose which fields show up, but Jira decides the placement automatically, even for admins.
