Hello ,

I have a very peculiar issue. We initially purchased premium license for 200 users for a site currently we've moved to an enterprise plan.

But unfortunately i'm unable to add users to a group with JSM product access.

Has anyone experienced this

Hi @SANDRA ARDAY

Welcome to the community.

Can you provide screenshots of the group you want to add users to, is this group have a "lock" sign on it?

If this is the case this group is synchronised via the IDP based on Atlassian Guard subscription and configured in Atlassian administration.

Then users can only be added to this group based on them being added from the IDP side, this can't be done from the Atlassian side.

Hi @SANDRA ARDAY and welcome!

Are you using an IDP like Okta to manage your users? In that case it might be that the users are in a group that is managed by the SCIM and therefore are read-only.

You can read more about Jira default groups and how they work here: Jira default groups

I hope this helps, otherwise update this thread with additional questions so we can help you investigate the problem further

Best regards,
/Staffan
