Unable to add stakeholders

川目 沙英 June 17, 2025

I am trying to add a user to the stakeholders field, but I am unable to do so.

I am using JSM Premium.
I have given product access to JSM's User (agent) and Jira Administration.
I have set the project role to Administrators.

Why can't it be added?

I'm not sure if it's related, but this message appears when I open the ticket.
Stakeholders were not pre-filled.An issue has occurred. Please refresh the page.

Why is this message displayed?

Hello @川目 沙英

Does this Stakeholder field is a user Picker and you or your team created?

If so, then please check whether you have the Browse users and groups global permission?

@Yogesh Mude

This stakeholder field is not something I created.

This is a field added by enabling incident management.

@川目 沙英  Okay, the stakeholders is like customers in JSM. So either you need to invite them or assign existing users as a stakeholder.

Once you invite the stakeholder it will take 24 hours (once they accepted the invitation) for new stakeholders to be added to Jira Service Management.

For more details please take a look at https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/how-can-i-add-and-manage-internal-stakeholders/ article.
