Hello,
I’m setting up a new workspace completely on the free tier. I’ve installed Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management, and created a space using the Customer Service Management template. I then created a Customer Experience and wanted to customize the Customer Notifications.
I am able to edit the main template (the look and style of request‑related and custom notifications). However, I cannot edit the actual notification text. Whenever I try to update the content of a notification and save it, I get the following error:
“We couldn’t save your changes. Check your network connection, then try again.”
I’ve tested this across multiple Customer Experiences and several different notifications, and the error happens every time.
Does anyone know what might be causing this, or how I can enable editing the notification text on the free plan?
Thanks in advance!
What piece of text so you want to change, the text of a single customer notification?
I have tested this in a team and company managed project type, based on editing the notification template "Request created"
I can edit the notification and save it.

I'm indeed try to edit the content itself from the "Request created" notification in a Customer Experience:
I tried a different browser, didn't logon to atlassian before with that browser.
Changed the period for an explanation mark, clicked save and got the same error.

This seems to be related to the instance you use, as I can't replicate this.
As you are on a free tier subscription, you don't entitle to support from Atlassian.
I requested assistance for you, this can take 48 hours for someone from Atlassian to respond
