Transitions via Automation (Next Gen JSM)

Hello All,

I made an automation that transitions the status based on where the user falls. I keep getting the same issue. 

Here is the workflow

and here is the error i keep getting

Any advise will be greatly appreciated. It only errors out changing to 'Waiting for Agent' but works fine when it triggers 'Waiting for Requester'

Hi Nathan! Take a look at the transition in the workflow to the Waiting for Agent status to see if there are any Conditions that might be preventing it from moving. Make sure the  atlassian-addons-project-role is a condition if there are any. 

Also check to see if there are any Validators - there might be a required field or something that is happening.

Ahhhh, looks like a required field wasn't filled in.

Thanks for your help! To bad the error wasnt a little more clear, like 'error missing required field "field Name'

Weird it only errors on auto not a manual status update.

Glad you were able to identify the problem! Jira as a whole could use better messaging in error reporting.  :-)
