I have several workflows in which a status is allowed to transition to itself. For example, an issue in the Assigned status could follow the Assign transition and the screen would pop and you could essentially re-assign the issue.
This has worked for a long time, but sometime recently this option is no longer there. It's built into the workflow, but it's not showing as an option in the Status dropdown. Am I missing something here?
Hi @Paul Krueger ,
it seems like Atlassian has moved those also to the Actions dropdown, included in the From workflow section:
From my latest knowledge, this only applied to global reflexive transitions. Looks like something was changed (recently?).
Cheers,
Thorsten
Good find. You're absolutely right (and I wouldn't say I like that change). I've drilled into the heads of agents across our company to reassign using the status button (as opposed to simply changing the assignee), so that's going to be a transition (pun intended) for everyone.

Hi @Paul Krueger ,
are there any conditions applied to the workflow transition ? Those might prevent the transition being visible.
Best regards,
Kris

No conditions, no validators.

I see the property 'opsbar-sequence' has been set on the transition. I wonder if that might have an impact. Does it help when you remove that property ?

It does not. I've even tried adding a new transition ("Reassign") instead of reusing the Assign transition and that doesn't work.

I'll also point out that this isn't project-specific. All of my other projects are exhibiting the same behavior.
