Hi I'm trying to work out where to edit the fields that show on the screen that appear when you transition a issue from one status to another.
I have a Service Desk project that is running the default JIRA Service desk workflow for Bugs and New Features.
I have made some changes to the issue layout via the Project Settings > Request Types > Select Bug ot New Feature > Update fields under Issue View tab. This has worked as expected. However when the screen that shows when a issue is transitioned ot Closed for example. Is show fields (some custom) that I don't want shown. However I can not work out where these are coming from. Any direction would be great.

The issue view tab will not affect transition screens. It only applies to issues as you are currently viewing them. To change an existing transition screen you must be a Jira Admin.
If you are, got to Settings > Issues > Screens and search for the Workflow screen in question. Then click on the screen name and change out the fields (and order) as you desire.

To add/configure a screen during transition, you have to first create a new screen and then edit your workflow to add that screen to the required transition.
Steps to follow:
In case you want to configure an existing screen, just open your workflow in edit mode, select the transition you are looking for and see which screen is associated to it. You can click on the screen name/link, and you will be able to edit the fields.
