Tracking a list with multiple fields (part number, quantity, etc.) in an issue? (Order Management)

I am setting up a project to help my Operations team better manage order entry, and I'm struggling a bit to identify a way to log contents of an order in a custom Jira field.

Is there any way to log multiple entries of a specific object (in this case including Part Number, Quantity and Price), in a Jira issue? I want to avoid creating a large number of custom fields for each potential entry in the order (i.e. Part Number 1,2,... / Quantity 1,2,.... / etc.).

I could do this with a large custom text field, but that seems less elegant than what I am picturing.

Hi Owen,

It sounds like this add-on fits your needs perfectly: Elements Checklist for Jira

They have a blog post here: https://blog.valiantys.com/en/jira-service-desk/list-in-jira-material-order/

Hope this helps with a more elegant solution.

Cheers,
Keri
