The customer is not receiving a notification to access Jira portal

Mariusz Mika July 30, 2025

I am adding a user to Jira project and receiving a message that an invitation was sent to user's e-mail. Notification in the project is enabled, although the user is not receiving an e-mail. Are you able to check it?

@Mariusz Mika Check whether the Customer invitation permission is enabled or not in the project customer permission. The jira default Notifications wotn work for customer.

Hi,

sometimes the accounts end up in Atlassian Cloud's "bounce list" and Atlassian support needs to remove the account from the list for it to receive invitations and notifications.

There's also the customer notifications log in JSM projects:

https://<site>.atlassian.net/jira/servicedesk/projects/<projectkey>/notification-logs

BR,

Antti
