Hi All
I hope you have some insight on my next question.
I have my Jira and Teams integrated to a channel - works well.
But can you link a Jira ticket to a specific individual on teams.
Scenario:
I want to set up a reminder to the Reporter that an action is required from them.
So if the comment contains "We need feedback" then a message must go to that reporter via teams.
This is not possible today. You may try to pull it off with Jira Automation.
Thanks,
Leo

OK. After further investigation I think Jira Automation won't help, because:
- it does not support personal messages to people, like this app.
- the accounts are not mapped between Jira and Microsoft Teams, so the above is not possible at all, sorry.
We are working on the app mentioned above, I would be happy to discuss with you your setup and requirements for this.
Thanks,
Leo

Thanks @Move Work Forward
We have a very strict budget, so the paid app won't work.
Will be happy to test and give feedback though.

Hello @Evgeny Kracko
I am not sure I understand you correctly, but I have following the integration guide to link Jira and Teams. In this screenshot, I created a Teams Channel called Helpdesk, then linked Jira via the connections option under the channel menu. The ticket created in the channel will automatically have a link to the ticket itself.
It will also send the updated comment from Jira when the comment is made.
I hope this helps.
