Solution to execute automated tests from Jira and update results back to Jira

Hi

I need to understand if there is any solution to execute automated tests from Jira and update results back to Jira.

There are solutions in my knowledge to execute automated test using a standalone tool outside Jira but is there any solution wherein the automated tests are executed by Jira(or any addin interface within Jira) and get the results updated in Jira.

Automated tests could be developed in UFT, Selenium or follow any BDD framework - Cucumber, Jbehave etc.
