Share tickets with a subcontractor?

Hi, we work on a project using JIRA software server 8.5

On this project we work with a subcontractor that also uses JIRA (not sure yet which version). Today we export tickets to a csv file, have a lot of painful manual customization for them to import in their own JIRA base.

Several times a week they send us back an updated csv file with new issues status

I think there should be a better way to work together and save time.

IT of both companies don't want a shared solution, they fear security issues

What do you suggest?

Best regards

Hi @edern there are Apps which can synchronize issues between two Jira instances (like https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1215199/backbone-issue-sync-for-jira?hosting=server&tab=overview).

But unfortunatelly it is not "built-in" functionality in Jira.
