I have a conundrum, but I do believe it's something that is possible - simply I dont know how to configure it properly (yet).
First up, Is there a way to sync with my Azure AD, so that any user added to the AAD becomes a customer of the Internal Service Project with no need to invite/approve to the project? I assume that there is somewhere, simply I havent the experience to know where this is off the top of my head (and I'm going round in circles reading everything).
Secondly, as we have two service projects (Internal and External, lets say), I need to be able to separate access to these in a suitable manner. External customers should only see the External project, but Internal customers should be able to see both.
Right now I think I've gone down a rabbit hole in terms of Customer Access and Project Access. Some of which I've figured I've done correctly, others I dont think are right! Any guidance at all would be very helpful. I know JIRA can do this... I just cant figure out how.....
@Paul Scott digging this back up. What were you able to learn or determine around this?
Specifically on the External vs. Internal access.
We have been using JSM for our internal help desks for departments fine enough, but now we have an ask to create an project for external requests and I'm struggling to figure out how to manage this all within the same site.
I can create an external portal where "customers" could send an email to create their ask and their account, but that then gives the person access to the portal and then they can see our banner where we have company reminders.
It also allows our internal employees to see this new portal and we don't want that either...
